Data Architecture & Integration:
13+ years Design, build, and maintain scalable data integration pipelines using Cloudera, PySpark, Python, and Scala.
- Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources, adhering to Abbvie's Dataverse standards.
- Own the entire data lifecycle — from ingestion and transformation to storage and analysis.
- Leverage strong database knowledge to optimize performance and ensure data integrity.
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights and support business decision-making.
Technical Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Lead and participate in design discussions, providing architectural insights and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and conduct functionality walkthroughs to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to align data architecture with business goals.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Process & Standards:
- Review and maintain adherence to Abbvie's Dataverse standards.
- Utilize tools such as GIT for version control and JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
- Ensure best practices for documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
On-Site Presence: Must be available on-site at client location to collaborate with customer stakeholders and support critical project needs.
