- Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications and programs using languages such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
- Collaborate with business analysts and project teams to understand requirements and design solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues within mainframe systems and applications.
- Perform regular system updates and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for mainframe databases.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
- Assist in maintaining system documentation and user manuals.
