Our challenge • We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in alternative investments to join our team. • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various alternative investment vehicles, such as private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and commodities, along with the analytical skills to support strategic decision-making. • This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance our product offerings.The RoleResponsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to alternative investments from stakeholders across the organization. • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the alternative investments space. • Collaborate with portfolio managers, investment analysts, and other stakeholders to develop investment strategies and performance metrics. • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories. • Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of alternative investment products and strategies. • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. • Assist in the development and implementation of technology solutions that support alternative investment operations and reporting. • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency. • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to alternative investments.Requirements:You are: • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; Masters degree is a plus. • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services and 5+ years of alternative investments sector experience (Mandatory) • Strong understanding of alternative investment products (e.g., private equity, hedge funds, real estate) and associated financial metrics. • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and experience with financial modelling. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. • Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus. • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to alternative investments is advantageous
