JOB DETAIL

Position:  Splunk Developer
They need a Splunk Developer to assist with the ingest of various forms of data, the development of dashboards, creation of a few correlation event reports, and establishment of alerts. The Splunk Developer must have a broad range of experience integrating data from network, system, and application sources, and understanding and implementation of coding best practices to ensure efficiency and clarity of implementation (documentation/annotation).   

Tasks to be completed:
* Import encryptor and certain network manager logs Into Splunk
* Splunk Alerting deployed via Exchange and Skype    
* Adding SCAP Scan Results to a Splunk ConMon Dashboard
* Creating a Time Skew Metric in Splunk (Create a metric that can determine if the system clock on any machine is out of sync by more than 1 minute.)
* Create a dashboard in Splunk displaying the results of software and firmware patching cycles (success/failures with drill down).

Must haves:
* In-Depth understanding of Splunk integrations, customizations, and development
* Proficient in developing, implementing and testing
* Solid communication skills - both verbal and written.  
* U.S. Government Position.  U.S. Citizenship Required. 
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering and/or related field
* Familiarity with RMF NIST 800-53/171
