·       Expert in Software AG webMethods Administration (Installation, setup, configuration, documentation)

·       Strong skillset specifically for WM

Integration Platform Patching :

·       Perform a quarterly review of the available patches/fixes on Integration Platform and plan to install based on the value the fixes provide to the environment.

Integration Platform Product Upgrades and Planning :

·       Review release notes for new product releases and prepare a plan for upgrade if the new version provides business value to Tractor.

·       Planning, configuration, and testing of new installations

Monitoring and provide daily administrative support of environment :

·       Perform daily health check for all applications.

·       Review and respond to Optimize for Infrastructure, Splunk and Infrastructure monitoring email alerts in a timely manner. 

·       Review SSL Certificate expiration date. Ensure the process for certificate renewals and communications are done in a timely manner.

Creating Utilities and Proof of Concepts :

·       Build or develop utilities that will reduce manual repeated tasks and auto-recovery of failed application processes.

·       Build and test open-source tools that has the potential to add value to EIP platform.

Performance Testing Support :

·       Support performance testing efforts for the assigned projects or continuous readiness by ensuring environments are available with the latest production ready code before the test.

·       Communicate effectively with performance engineers on any changes to EIP environments and ensure all issues during the performance tests are reported.

Performance Tuning :

·       Create a weekly report for services and API  with high response times using Insight (when it is functional) and Kibana. Investigate the cause for the high response and research for solutions that can help reduce the response times.

·       Create a weekly report for application servers that have been consistently sending alerts for high CPU, Memory or JVM heap. Investigate and research for solutions that can assist in maintaining a stable environment.

 Set best practice and guidelines in joint with EIP Architect.

·       Review and propose updates/changes to best practice guidelines. 

·       Ensure any changes to best practices are communicated with EIP Architect.
