• Functional knowledge of at least one Tier 1 Asset management accounting system such as Eagle, Alladin, Simcorp, PAM, etc.
• A good understanding of the Accounting Book of Record domain and functions like Securities, Positions, Cash, Transactions (Trades, Income, Paydown, etc), Prices, Corporate Actions
• A good understanding of interactions with upstream (Order Management Systems) and downstream systems like Data Warehouse, Client Reporting, Performance reporting, etc
• Experience with accounting conversion projects
• Experience with creating data inventory, cataloging existing data consumers, determining data usage
• Experience with data mapping to ensure data integrity and accuracy of migration
• Migration of Current State Processes to Target state Facilitate stakeholder meetings to document current state upstream and downstream processes and recommend future state processes
Working with development teams to drive the implementation of changes required to Validate and verify migration against defined success criteria
• Strong data analysis skills, ability to write queries to analyze data
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence
