Five (5) years of FTE experience with various Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) methods, such as point-to-point EDI, EDI Network Services Provider, File Transfer Protocol over Virtual Private Network, Secure File Transfer Protocol and File Transfer Protocol Secure, etc.
Three (3) years of FTE experience interpreting HIPAA rules and regulations for implementation by a covered entity.
Three (3) years of FTE experience participating in HIPAA-based projects for Transactions, Code Sets, National Provider Identifier requirements, CAQH CORE Operating Rules, or similar practices/standards compliance.
Three (3) years of FTE experience performing complex analysis on systems responsible for the exchange and generation of HIPAA required data structures and transactions.
Three (3) years of FTE experience working with program staff and managing relationships with program staff.
Three (3) years of FTE experience working within the healthcare industry.
Possession of a current Project Management Institute Certification Agile Certified Practitioner Certification (PMI-ACP), or a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master Certification, or Certified Scrum Product Owner Certification.
Experience participating in a practice or standards development process led by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recognized standards development organization, such as ASC X12.
Participation in national HIPAA standards settings organizations, workgroups, and other HIPAA related organizations.
Experience with Medicaid programs.
Experience interpreting HIPAA rules and regulations for implementation by a covered entity.
Experience performing complex analysis on systems responsible for the exchange and generation of HIPAA required data structures and transactions.
Desired:
Experience with State of California programs and organizations, or other similar government experience for other state agencies in healthcare programs.
