Seattle preferred - 3 days (Tuesday/Wednesday/3rd day a float day)
12-month contract – potential to roll into fulltime but no commitment
Not an Agile PM – looking for a Senior Scrum Master – data management (not typical data management office), data transformation is a plus not required, team has hands in a lot of diff components, help with organizing backlog, sprint planning, highlight risk, assist with estimations, implement and track metrics to get better estimating timeline, run Scrum ceremonies
Someone who is not afraid to roll up sleeves, dig in and engage with team, work to understand what team is doing
Look at requirement and see if there is anything more needed, understanding of data management is not required
Financial service background needed – asset management, trading, equity, fixed income not banking, regulatory reporting, any snowflake experience a plus, transformation happening, storing data and pulling data together – a lot of different components, critical eye for data is a plus
Jira, Confluence
CSM required, not other certifications
Look more towards technical Scrum Master – some data management processes are on Legacy on-prem and some cloud, a lot in Snowflake and working a lot in AWS – because of wide breath not looking for someone to check all boxes
Backfill role for someone that was more of a PM – that is why focus is on Scrum Master-
Team: number of different Program/Project Manager to Jr PM, Scrum Master/Project Manager – 13 different folks in PMO that support and this role is focused on data management office internally and externally
Individual Contributor role
Data management office is 1 team but divided into 3-4 squads and each have a different area – 4 teams they would assist
Scrum Master in SDLC, do not need to have been a Developer/Engineer
