Minimum Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in data science or a related field, with significant experience in the agriscience or agriculture domain.
Geospatial Data Expertise: Deep understanding of geospatial data formats, processing, and analysis techniques. Familiarity with geospatial libraries like xarray, rioxarray, and other Python-based GIS tools.
Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, with experience developing data analysis pipelines and custom modules.
Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with AWS ECS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based infrastructure for deployment and orchestration.
Data Management: Solid understanding of SQL, with hands-on experience querying large datasets using Trino or similar systems.
CI/CD Experience: Strong experience working with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and managing version control.
Data Visualization: Proven ability to generate and present complex data insights using visualization tools and libraries (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn, plotly).
Analytical Mindset: Ability to approach complex problems methodically and derive actionable insights from large datasets.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex data challenges.
