JOB DETAIL

 

  • In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting on Wintel Platform and knowledge of server maintenance/configurations (Windows Server OS & VMware)
  • Should have good experience in working on remote access, primarily in supporting, connecting and troubleshooting activities
  • Experience in deploying /supporting /maintaining /Managing Windows Active Directory Domain environments at an enterprise level
  • Managing user accounts and groups on Windows 2012\2016\2019 Domain controlled
  • Managing User administration, Groups, Organizational Units, Group Policy objects
  • Proficiency with Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and their R2 Class Operating systems
  • Knowledge on Server Roles DNS, DHCP, File Server, IIS, FTP , DFS, SMB shares and Permissions and
  • Failover
  • Install firmware and operating systems patches and upgrades manually / using Microsoft tools or Third Party tools like Manage Engine
  • Extensive Hands-on experience with VMWare and Managing and troubleshooting skills in VMWare ESXi Server Infrastructure
  • vSphere systems administration/support (VMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, VCenter, storage migrations, P2V migrations)
  • Troubleshooting / Root cause identification
  • Install / Configure /Upgrade Virtual platform environment
  • Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.
  • Performance and capacity management on VMWare servers
  • Work on major severity and complex server issues
  • Assist in the implementation, configuration, and operation of the data centers servers, networks, storage and structured cabling systems
  • Coordinate datacenter colocation maintenances and communicate with relevant teams
  • Must be capable of lifting and transporting computer related hardware up to 75 pounds
  • Work with Change & Problem Management Tools
  • Analyze Problems & escalate to appropriate Levels
  • Must be willing to be on-call and to working evenings and/or weekend hours when requested.
