Oracle EBS DBA

Oracle Database 19c and above, Oracle EBS Installation and Configuration (hosted in OCI): Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases, including patch management.
Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure systems run efficiently and meet SLAs.
Backup and Recovery: Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans, including RMAN and Data Guard (manual and OCI automated) for high availability.
Security Management: Implement database security, including user roles, permissions, and auditing to ensure data protection and compliance.
Database Maintenance: Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as patching, updating indexes, and running diagnostics.
Data Migration: Assist in the design and execution of database migration projects, data import/export, and schema changes – familiarity with tools like SVN, Git.
Capacity Planning: Plan for future storage requirements based on growth projections and performance needs.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Use tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), OCI monitoring tool to monitor databases, diagnose issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for automating repetitive DBA tasks and database monitoring.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to support SQL queries, stored procedures, and application integration with databases.
