• Strong knowledge and experience in Azure and Azure Functions, Event Grid, Event Bus, Event Hub, with Event driven architecture experience in Java/Node
• Experience in technical leadership in architecture, design, and engineering in the modernization of legacy Data Ingestion
• Experience in defining technical direction and roadmap for Cloud migrations and managing the implementation and big data technical solutions.
• Designing, implementing, and managing our Azure cloud infrastructure
• Experience in designing, development, or maintenance of a big data application.
• Produce solutions that are models of performance, scalability, and extensibility.
• Can create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.
• Design and implement end-to-end Azure data solutions, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization.
• Architect data platforms using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), Azure SQL Database, and PySpark.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data movement and transformation.
• Design data models and schemas to support business requirements and analytical insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the data engineering team.
