Deploy, configure, and manage security tools, including Rapid7/Metasploit, CrowdStrike, and KnowBe4 to monitor, detect, and mitigate threats.
Lead efforts to enhance the organization’s security framework by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate measures.
Vendor Collaboration:
Work closely with third-party vendors to evaluate, procure, and integrate security solutions into the existing IT infrastructure.
Act as the primary point of contact for security-related vendor discussions, ensuring deliverables meet organizational requirements.
Threat Analysis and Mitigation:
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks and weaknesses.
Develop and implement effective remediation strategies for identified security gaps.
Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats using advanced tools and techniques.
Security Awareness & Training:
Utilize KnowBe4 to design and execute security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and FDA cybersecurity guidelines.
Proactively address security risks while maintaining a balance between security and business operations.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, compliance, and operations, to design and implement secure solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
