Cloud Architecture Design:
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable AWS cloud architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements.
Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures to protect cloud environments.
- Implement AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), security groups, and encryption mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
Governance and Policy Management:
- Define and implement cloud governance frameworks, including tagging strategies, cost management policies, and access control.
- Automate compliance monitoring and remediation using AWS Config, CloudWatch, and other tools.
Cloud Migration and Optimization:
- Lead migration projects, transitioning legacy applications to AWS.
- Optimize workloads for performance, cost, and security.
Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for AWS cloud solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
Monitoring and Incident Management:
- Design monitoring frameworks using AWS CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and other tools.
- Establish incident response processes for cloud-related security events.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation for all cloud architectures, policies, and processes.
- Prepare reports for audits, security assessments, and executive stakeholders.
