-- Ability to develop and clearly document test plans for web applications and APIs

-- Ability to clearly document defects found in web applications and APIs

-- Ability to clearly document enhancements desired in web applications and APIs

-- Ability to clearly document a release using tools like Jira, Confluence or Google office products

-- Ability to analyze the browser’s developer tools to diagnose problems

-- Ability to invoke APIs using command line tools like cURL or Postman or similar

-- Ability to figure out what is going on in really complicated systems

-- Ability to automate API testing

-- Ability to automate web application testing preferred

Experience

-- 5+ years working in a quality assurance role

-- 5+ years working in dynamic environment releasing software multiple times per week

-- 5+ years troubleshooting customer-affecting issues, finding root causes and suggesting fixes

-- 2+ years testing modern web applications, including single page applications

-- 2+ years testing REST-based APIs

-- 2+ years working with Jira to manage and track stories, bugs, enhancements and epics

-- Experience automating API testing

-- Experience automating web application testing

-- Bachelor’s degree
