Previous experience authoring low-level, detailed designs from conceptualization to delivery.
Ability to create / design an infrastructure for application deployment.
Own and enforce a consistent approach to infrastructure solution design within the domain.
Own and author / assure cross-domain solution designs and supporting documentation, independently and with minimal oversight.
Design and operational experience with Azure is critical.
Provide technical / solution oversight during the development, test and implementation of change, to ensure delivery in line with requirements and design.
The ability to learn new technology concepts and apply this knowledge to the migrations you are working on.
Be able to apply technical strategy in complex business contexts, using patterns, standards and guidance.
Experience of translating technical concepts and issues so they can be understood by all stakeholders.
Experience of maintaining relationships and coordinating with external stakeholders/contacts.
Practical working knowledge of modern cloud-first architectures, and how to build applications to take advantage of the opportunities they offer.
The ability to be able to work on multiple migration streams in parallel, engineers often have many projects on the go!
