Database Migration:

Migrate data from Oracle to MySQL Aurora, ensuring system uptime and processing throughout.

Develop, execute, and optimize iterative ETL (Exact Transform Load) processes.

Translate data mapping documentation into executable SQL scripts.

Design and implement migration strategies, including bulk migrations and incremental delta migrations.

Create Migration Validation Reports detailing migration results to ensure complete and accurate data transfer.

System Configuration & Deployment:

Configure and deploy database systems using Terraform scripts in AWS.

Set up backup and recovery solutions, ranging from basic scheduling in AWS to custom scripts or third-party hardware integrations.

Integrate monitoring systems (Zabbix, CloudWatch, or custom solutions) for database performance management.

Ensure configurations comply with industry standards and government security guidelines.

High Availability & Disaster Recovery:

Implement robust HA/DR solutions for database systems in cloud or on-premises environments.

Reporting Solutions:

Configure, deploy, and maintain Oracle Business Intelligence/Analytical Server solutions.

Collaborate with SMEs to create and customize reports tailored to client specifications.

Proactive Problem Solving:

Proactively identify gaps in data and methodology, questioning assumptions to improve efficiency.

Communicate effectively with SMEs and team members to resolve issues and ensure task completion.
