JOB DETAIL

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with over 10 years of relevant experience to join our team. The role will involve defining, documenting, and analyzing customer business functions and processes, coordinating project activities, and ensuring the optimal performance of web applications and systems. The position is hybrid, with the candidate expected to be on-site in Rockville, MD, Monday to Friday, during core working hours (9am – 4pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements: Define and document customer business functions, processes, and requirements by consulting with users, stakeholders, and other teams.
  • Consultation: Work with users and stakeholders to identify, define, and document business needs, challenges, operational procedures, and input/output requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Maintain and monitor project sprint plans, schedules, and documentation; coordinate tasks among team members; participate in stakeholder meetings; track and follow-up on actions and decisions.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, IT analysts, consultants, and other organizations in analyzing, testing, and maintaining systems and applications.
  • Feasibility & System Requirements: Analyze the feasibility and develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Documentation: Track changes for business and functional specifications, ensuring full documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance reviews of deliverables for both internal and external delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving business processes and assist in preparing proposals for developing new systems or extending existing systems.
  • Change Impact Analysis: Perform change impact analysis to assess the implications of changes and document business rules and requirements.
  • Screen Mockups & Visualizations: Create screen mockups and visualizations for review with clients and stakeholders.
  • Training & Content Creation: Create training manuals, FAQs, and static website content.
  • Documentation Proficiency: Produce business documentation including SRS, Use Cases, concept documents, and other impact analysis artifacts.
  • Communication: Distill and present results in clear, business-oriented language to all organizational levels.
  • Support Meetings and Conferences: Provide support for meetings, conferences, and program activities.
