- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Hands on experience in IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS,IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Change man/Endeavor Mainframe application development suits and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.
- Experience in creating API using zO/S connect & Kafka integration is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and work experience on AWS is a plus.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Knowledge on banking domain & credit card is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud technologies
- Exposure to JAVA
Support Activities:
1. Perform L3 support
2. Perform Maintenance and support activities
3. Able to provide support on Weekend (rotation basis)
4. Support nature is 13*7 (rotation basis)
5. Flexible to work in Shift (2 PM to 11 PM). This is mostly for week in month
6. Able to co-ordinate with offshore team.
7. Good knowledge of Support process.
