JOB DETAIL

The Division of Procurement is seeking a highly motivated individual to support a temporary role as a Procurement Systems Administrator. 

This is a temporary position for up to two years and is needed to support key staff while they focus on the implementation of the County’s new ERP system. 

This position will support some of the activities currently performed by the existing Procurement Systems Administrator, including, but not limited to:


-Delivering timely front-line support to procurement systems users. This requires establishing a baseline knowledge of the County’s departmental purchasing processes.
-Serving as the main point of contact for Prospective Suppliers in Oracle’s iSupplier module. This includes troubleshooting login issues.
-Assisting with the administration of the Procurement systems: Oracle Procurement, Inventory & iSupplier modules, Amazon, Staples, eVA, etc. This includes helping to train users; provisioning access for trained users; ensuring Ship To and Bill To Addresses are up to date; performing testing and communicating the impacts/changes when there are system updates.
-Collaborating with Administrators of other Oracle modules: Accounts Payables/Projects and Grants//Human Resources and Information Technology and other systems during Month End Close, upgrade testing and other county wide system projects/efforts.
-Supporting efforts to improve Procurement systems documentation and performance reporting. This position may also support some activities related to the new ERP system.
