JOB DETAIL

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Engage with stakeholders to understand data migration needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Data Mapping & Transformation: Work with technical teams to explain data mapping requirements and assist to transform data between source and target systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality throughout the migration process by performing data validation, cleansing, and testing to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
  • Migration Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with project manager and technical leads to develop detailed migration plans, timelines, and risk assessments.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, issues, and progress.
  • Testing & Validation: Oversee testing of migrated data and ensure that all business-critical data is accurately transferred to the new system.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data migration processes, including data definitions, mapping, release notes and migration plans.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and address data migration issues, proposing solutions and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Change Management: Assist in managing change requirement related to the data migration, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
