Requirements / Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team, specializing in video engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video operations and systems management and will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis, with a focus on video engineering
- Proficiency in video engineering software, data analysis tools, and project management software. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience managing projects from inception to completion, with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
- Experience with cloud-based video processing and streaming technologies
- Knowledge of video compression standards and codecs (preferred)
- Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management (preferred)
Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for video engineering projects
- Work with IT and video engineering teams to design, develop, and implement system solutions that meet business needs
- Identify areas for process improvement within video engineering workflows and recommend solutions
- Utilize data analysis tools to interpret video performance metrics and provide actionable insights
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides
