- Get knowledge transfer of existing Texas Home Acquisition data model to understand the current functionality.
- This includes documentation of existing functionality and business rules.
- Assist with providing production support of the Informatica applications.
- Monitoring of batch processes. Willingness to perform this off hours also during weekdays and weekends.
- Assist with additional PL/SQL development.
- Create and/or support Informatica workflows.
- Willingness and cooperation in working in a fast-paced environment.
- Work effectively in a team environment. Develop strong working relationship with the business team and individuals at all levels of NRG, such as other IT groups, Operations, and Project Management team.
- Communicate status and escalate issues as early in the process as possible.
- Use analytics skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
- Ability to switch between multiple tasks and work them in parallel.
- Willingness to take responsibility for the tasks that are assigned
- Python experience is not required but recommended
- Informatica Power Center experience
- Experience in a de-regulated utilities business (in Texas is a plus)
- Oracle SQL developer or PL/SQL Developer
- Power BI
- SAP knowledge/experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required in order interact with the business team, SME, production support lead, and other team members.
- Flexibility, dedication, and team-spirit is a must
Troubleshoot and address job failures as soon as possible. Work with ControlM off-shore group on re-run/re-start instructions of failed jobs. Willingness to perform this off hours during weekdays and weekends.
