JOB DETAIL

  • Proficiency in Oracle Forms development, in versions 6i or above.
  • Expertise in different types of Oracle Forms objects, such as

a. Object Type: Single DB Block, Multi DB Blocks, Parent-Child Relation, Parent-Child-Child Relations, From Clouse query block etc.

b. Canvas Types: Content, Stacked, Tab, Horizontal Toolbar, Vertical Toolbar, hierarchical tree, ole container etc.

c. Visual Attributes: Customizing the appearance of objects using visual attributes.

d. Object Libraries: Reusable components for application development.

e. Program Units: Procedures, Functions, Packages for modular code organization.

f. Triggers : Forms Level, block level , item level.

  • Proficiency in PLSQL coding with extensive knowledge of advanced SQL, dynamic SQL, and PLSQL, collections, records, etc.
  • Design, implement, and execute performance tuning strategies to improve the responsiveness, scalability, and overall performance of Oracle Forms applications.
  • This may involve optimizing SQL queries, tuning PL/SQL code, and adjusting database configurations.
  • Review application code and provide recommendations to development teams on best practices and performance optimization techniques.
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications to validate functionality and identify and resolve defects before deployment.
  • Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to proactively identify and address potential performance issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to database development and PL/SQL programming.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members
  • Ability to handle entire SDLC independently.
  • Thorough Knowledge and expertise with Triggers , Stored Procedure , Functions , Cursors , DML , DDL , Transactions and writing complex queries.
  • Engage in designing, coding, development, and implementation.
  • Team Handling, assist them in solving critical issues, Review work of team.
  • Capable to easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in business processes along with possible solutions
