JOB DETAIL

Overview: Have been in the process of migrating from Tridion to AEM as their content management system. Currently they have a sufficient number of Engineers working on the 'front-end' development of building sites, assets, workflows, integrations, etc. but lacking someone with the platform experience to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot the platform itself. They are running into issues in the operations side, for example, their create/authoring side 'froze up' recently and sites weren't able to be served/published. Do not have knowledge in house to fix this so need to lean on Adobe when these issues arise. • Will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the AEM application, managing the architecture, infrastructure, and configurations. • Their platform is cloud-hosted, • Not responsible for building Site, Assets, workflows, etc. Another team is responsible for that. • Has custom Lambda-based APIs interacting with AEM's OSGi APIs to build. Will not be building APIs but should have API understanding to be able to troubleshoot issues, understand API scalability, etc. • Using Oak JCR Repository, out-of-the-box configuration for data storage. Using AEM's Query Analyzer tool to monitor queries within the platform. Should have understanding of queries, be able to troubleshoot, identify whether the correct indexes are in place. • Will be utilizing Abode's Ultimate Success service to best practices and environment optimization strategy but needs someone who can 'bridge that gap' and carry out the configurations and performance management. • Create and maintain documentation for configurations and processes. • Work collaboratively with various teams, (Authoring and Publishing sides). • Need strong communication, self-starter, independent worker • Not looking for a green candidate here, needs someone who can jump in immediately and help them strategize. • 3-6 month contract to start, potential extension • San Antonio, Phoenix, and Plano are preferred but remote is also ok.
