JOB DETAIL

•              SFDC Technical Solution Architect: 12-18 years of total IT industry experience, with a minimum of 9 years specifically in hands-on Salesforce.com architecting/solutioning and development (coding) in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning.

•              Experience in Data Modeling specific to Salesforce.

•              Preferred: Omnistudio experience.

•              Prior experience with other technologies like Java/.Net is highly preferred.

 

Salesforce.com Certifications

•              Must-Have:

o             Developer Certification (Platform Dev 2).

o             At least 2 certifications from the Architect-stream.

•              Nice to Have:

o             Advanced Admin (ADM301).

o             Consultant Certifications (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud).

 

Force.com Development Knowledge

•              Proven experience in architecting and implementing Salesforce solutions from a development perspective.

•              Participated in at least 2 large Salesforce implementations (not less than 10,000 users).

•              Ability to perform Technical Solutioning by evaluating Configuration vs. Coding and making optimal customization choices.

Core Technical Expertise

•              Strong experience with Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, Eclipse IDE, SOQL, and JavaScript.

•              In-depth understanding of Salesforce Coding best practices.

•              Expertise in Salesforce Data Modeling and engaging with Enterprise Architecture teams.

•              Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using SOAP/REST Services.

•              Knowledge of Force.com APIs:

o             SOAP, WSDL, REST, SSL standards, security models, and typical API client architecture.

o             Familiarity with Force.com Bulk API and the Metadata API.

•              Implementation knowledge of:

o             Workflow rules, validation rules, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.

Tools and Deployment Expertise

•              Experience using Apex Data Loader and ETL tools such as Informatica, Boomi, Cast Iron, or Mulesoft.

•              Database development expertise: SQL, PL/SQL, database schemas, and stored procedures.

•              Follow unit testing and test class best practices, capable of coding for positive/negative scenarios.

•              Must have experience with production deployment using Change Sets, Eclipse, or ANT migration tools, and solving deployment errors.

 

Additional Knowledge and Skills

•              Good to have:

o             HTML/HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, Web Services, Google APIs, and JQuery/JavaScript frameworks.

o             Object-oriented programming in J2EE/.Net platforms.

•              Strong hands-on experience with:

o             Salesforce.com administration, configuration, customization, and development, including reports and dashboards.

o             Customizing and configuring SFDC objects, data fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, document templates, reports, and dashboards.

•              Excellent understanding of admin setup: user creation, roles, profiles, security settings, role hierarchy, etc.
