Our client, a top tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm if looking for a qualified IT Business Analyst, dedicated to optimizing the backend operations at a leading investment firm. This role focuses on enhancing our systems and processes in areas such as residential mortgages, settlements, and trade processing..

Essential Requirements and Responsibilities : 

·       Analyse and map backend workflows, particularly in settlements, trade processing, and residential mortgage operations, to identify improvement opportunities.

·       Develop and optimize SQL queries and reports to support data analysis and decision-making processes.

·       Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to design and implement system enhancements and new features.

·       Conduct requirement gathering sessions, prepare detailed documentation, and ensure clear communication between technical teams and business users.

·       Manage projects from conception to completion, including setting timelines, milestones, and managing stakeholder expectations.

·       Provide training and support to users on new systems and processes.

·       Perform regular system audits and prepare reports for management highlighting potential issues and solutions.

·       Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

·       Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role within an investment firm.

·       Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.

·       In-depth understanding of investment operations, including residential mortgages, settlements, and trade processing.

·       Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
