A consistent quality of the best software testers is a curious, inquisitive mind. Testers often are drawn to the career and then excel in their position due to their unflagging curiosity.

The possibility of failure - where might we go wrong, how can I make them see where this could go wrong - what if? ... what about?
4 - Risk Evaluation
By identifying areas of concern early, developers are able to proactively remediate and reduce the overall risk of a production defect.
5 - Analytical mind
The ability to separate an item into its basic parts to examine the parts and their relationships. It involves thinking in a logical, step-by-step manner to break down a larger system of information into its parts.
