Previous experience in Healthcare or financial services industry experience will be given first preference
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in SAS programming to mine, alter, manage, retrieve, and combine data from a variety of sources and perform statistical analysis
Proficient in SAS programming, including macro development and PROC SQL
Proficient with SAS data integration and query tools
5+ years of advanced SQL skills including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization
3+ years of experience in data visualization and tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field
Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts
Healthcare or financial services industry experience
Certifications in SAS or SQL
Familiar with SAS Procurement Integrity solution
Technical Skills
SAS : Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Macro language, PROC SQL
SQL: Complex querying, stored procedures, performance tuning
Linux : shell scripting, process scheduling, application scheduling, basic peripheral devices, and file systems
Database platforms : SQL Server, Oracle, or similar
API development
Data visualization : Power BI, Tableau, or similar
Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis
