JOB DETAIL

  • Technical Skills:

    • Core Mainframe Technologies: Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and Unix Shell Scripting.
    • Additional Skills: Strong understanding of CICS, with exposure to WINSCP, DB2, PL/SQL, VSAM, and TX support.
    • Development and Maintenance: Supporting existing Mainframe application batch jobs on Unix platforms, handling code maintenance for COBOL programs and Unix Shell scripts.
    • Requirement Analysis and Documentation: Experience in preparing detailed technical documents, including High-Level Requirements, Functional and Non-Functional Specifications, and Business Requirements.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills:

    • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Client Interaction: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, business executives, and technical teams.
    • Agile and Waterfall Methodologies: Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
    • Business Analysis: Assisting in the development and documentation of business requirements and solutions.
    • Project Management: Ensuring clear definition, documentation, and communication of project dependencies and timelines.
