Responsibilities for the Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer include:

•             Taking direction from senior developers and collaborating with internal teams to produce software.

•             Participating in requirements analysis.

•             Interpreting business requirement documents; writing clean, scalable, and functional code; unit testing code; preparing applications for deployment to production; and creating documentation as required.

•             Fixing defects in legacy code.

•             Working with source control on multiple simultaneous branches.

•             Providing production support as needed, this includes being available to provide third tier support to the help desk on assigned weekends and holidays if needed.

•             Improving existing software.

Required skills for the Oracle PL/SQL Backend Developer:

•             8-12+ years of experience and expert level experience as a PL/SQL Application Developer using Toad, SQLPlus

•             Must be able to create views, packages, functions, and stored procedures in PL/SQL

•             Must be able to work with collections and async processes.

•             Must be able to interpret execution plans and optimize queries and functions.

•             Must be able to create complex DML, and debug it as needed.

•             Must be able to work remotely and on-site based on client requirements.

•             Must have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

•             BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
