Cloud Solutions Architect use their technical knowledge of cloud services to design and implement scalable, robust systems on the (AWS) cloud platform.

·         Expertise in operating systems such as Red Hat Linux and Windows.

·         Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.

·         Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

·         Collaborate with the different technical and nontechnical teams to develop and implement robust cloud solutions.

·         Select appropriate AWS services based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.

·         Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud.

·         Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on cloud infrastructure.

·         Assess the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications as necessary.

·         Educate on architectural principles and best practices on various technical levels.

·         Ensure solutions and infrastructures align with TIERS’ security standards.

·         Lead technical and design discussions to help speed of new technologies and practices.

·         Working knowledge of storage and backup solutions provided by AWS.

·         Experience ITIL - ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.

·         Experience managing Archer GRC.

·         Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, TCP/IP, and among other standard networking protocols.

·         General knowledge of database software such are Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres etc.

·         Knowledge of identity and access management as well as additional cybersecurity principles.

·         Keep abreast of the newest cloud computing developments and work to improve the organization's cloud infrastructure.
