JOB DETAIL

  1. Test Planning and Execution
    • Develop comprehensive test plans and cases for Oracle APEX applications, covering functional, performance, and security aspects.
    • Execute manual and automated testing to ensure applications meet functional requirements and align with DTA’s data strategy.
    • Conduct testing on reporting features to verify data accuracy, usability, and performance within APEX applications.
  2. Defect Tracking and Resolution
    • Document and track defects, collaborating closely with developers to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly.
    • Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues and work with the development team to implement corrective actions.
    • Re-test and validate defect resolutions to ensure quality standards are met.
  3. Compliance and Data Quality Assurance
    • Ensure APEX applications comply with data quality standards, data protection regulations, and security protocols.
    • Regularly validate data flows and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the system.
    • Maintain test environments and data sets in accordance with data privacy and security policies.
  4. Documentation and Reporting
    • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test scripts, test cases, and defect reports.
    • Provide regular testing status updates, test results, and quality reports to stakeholders.
    • Develop system documentation and user manuals, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest testing procedures and application changes.
  5. Process Improvement and Best Practices
    • Continuously identify areas for improvement in QA processes and recommend best practices for application and report testing.
    • Stay updated on new QA methodologies, tools, and Oracle APEX advancements to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the QA and development teams to implement automated testing frameworks where applicable.
  6. End-User Support and Training
    • Support end-users by troubleshooting issues, gathering feedback, and ensuring that applications meet user expectations.
    • Provide training and guidance to users on testing practices and application functionalities to facilitate efficient adoption.
