JOB DETAIL

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master with a strong background in digital banking, business analysis, or systems analysis to join our team.
  • This role requires an individual who can lead Agile teams within a digital banking environment, guiding them to deliver solutions that meet complex business needs.
  • The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Agile methodologies, an analytical mindset, and experience bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Leadership in Digital Banking: Lead and coach Scrum teams to adopt Agile best practices in delivering digital banking solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Oversee all Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure productivity, clarity, and alignment with digital banking objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, including product, compliance, and regulatory teams, to ensure a clear understanding of digital banking goals and priorities.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and continuously improve Agile practices, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the digital banking context.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, particularly those relevant to the digital banking domain, and user experience challenges.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Guide Product Owners on defining and prioritizing requirements that meet digital banking objectives.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and communicate team progress, capacity, and velocity, tailoring metrics to address digital banking KPIs and other requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in Agile/Scrum roles, with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master in the digital banking domain.
  • Agile Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or similar advanced Agile certifications.
  • Digital Banking Knowledge: In-depth understanding of digital banking products, processes, and regulatory landscape.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools, as well as a strong understanding of digital banking platforms and systems.
  • Leadership & Communication: Proven leadership and strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a banking context.
  • Problem-Solving: High level of analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and optimize team performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Certifications: Additional certifications related to digital banking, PMP, SAFe Agilist, or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Change Management: Experience supporting Agile transformation efforts within a financial institution.

Added Advantage:

  • Background in business analysis or systems analysis, with the ability to capture and translate business requirements into technical specifications for digital banking products.
