Identified R Consultant will be responsible for supporting an initial technical assessment, training SAS users in the R language, developing in conjunction with Siemens users a R programming template library, and supporting implementation of R in current biostatistics processes. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following: Conduct an initial technical assessment of team capabilities, systems, and processes. Evaluate technical competencies and tasks of the biostatistics team and assess training needs for R transition. Assess current data management and biostatistical systems and processes. Provide recommendations for improvements needed to facilitate transition to R. Provide recommendations for R software implementation: IDE Selection R version control Package selection and package version control Validation Training Based on the competencies and tasks evaluated in the technical assessment, provide training and content to establish basic competency in R language for 26 users. Implementation Support review of validation plans, protocols, test cases, and reports. Provide input to development of standard operating procedures with respect to R version and package version control, programming requirements, and integration with data pipeline. Provide consulting on as needed basis for technical challenges that arise during implementation
