JOB DETAIL

  • Automation and Integration:
    • Develop and maintain Application Engine programs to automate routine tasks and integrate with external systems.
    • Create efficient and reliable interfaces to import GL data from vendor systems into the PeopleSoft General Ledger, ensuring accurate data transfer and error handling.
    • Design and implement data feeds from PeopleSoft to other applications.
  • Production Support:
    • Provide L3 production support for the PeopleSoft General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Asset Management modules.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to these modules.
    • Monitor system performance and identify potential problems.
  • Functional Expertise:
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of PeopleSoft financials modules, including:
      • General Ledger: subledger data flows, GL tables, and closing processes.
      • Accounts Payable: AP closing processes and key tables.
      • Asset Management: AM closing processes, data flows to GL, and relevant tables.
  • Technical Skills:
    • PeopleSoft: Strong proficiency in PeopleSoft Query and SQL.
    • Application Engine: Experience in developing and maintaining Application Engine programs.
    • Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration techniques, including flat file imports and exports.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
