• Responsible for managing and reviewing the design and development of the custom objects by working closely with cross-functional and business teams.
• Technical Design and development of RICEFW objects as per the Client ISU business requirements.
• Thorough documentation and design review sessions with implementation partners team.
• Work closely with SAP active attention and product support team to make sure the SAP best practices are followed.
• Design custom Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts for customer communication, billing, and invoicing.
• Understand and provide guidance in interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs) between SAP IS-U and external systems, including third-party collection systems, customer portals, and billing providers.
• Optimize custom code, reports, and interfaces for better performance in large-volume transaction environments, focusing on IS-U processes.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within SAP ABAP programs and integrations, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.
• Utilize SAP BTP Cockpit for monitoring the performance, health, and scalability of applications running on BTP.
• Ensure code quality through thorough testing, following SAP development standards, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
• Expected to work together with operations team to bring them up to the speed on the project deliverables and newly built functionality as part of the CIS project.
• Deep knowledge of the technical and business master data and the integration points that enable the IS-U data model.
• Extensive experience in the batch job processing chains and exceptions management process.
• Implement and maintain SAP functionalities and processes to meet the needs of the utility company and Manage SAP data integrity.
• Collaborate with other IT and business departments to integrate SAP CIS with other systems.
• Support end-users and provide guidance as needed.
• Create and maintain documentation for SAP billing processes, configuration, and training.
• Continuously monitor and analyze performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Knowledge of Commerce Infrastructure Services (CIS) standard framework includes RESTful wrapper for services provided by SAP and third-party services.
• Experience with Address Verification Service, Fraud Verification Service, Geolocation Service, Payment Service, Shipping Service and Tax Service.
• Experience leading teams with deployment of the SAP IS-U Billing module in electric, gas and combined utilities supporting residential, commercial, and industrial class customers
