- Design, develop, and maintain AS400 applications for prescription drug claims processing, formulary management, and eligibility verification.
- Create and maintain accurate reports on prescription drug claims, pricing, and member eligibility to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Improve application performance and ensure the system runs efficiently and reliably.
- Ensure all AS400 applications meet healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and industry standards.
-  Work closely with pharmacy benefits teams and IT to understand business needs and provide technical solutions.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AS400 programming, specifically with RPG, CL, and SQL.
- Understanding of prescription drug claims processes, pharmacy benefits management (PBM), and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Proficiency in RPG, CL, SQL on AS400/iSeries; ability to manage and integrate data on AS400.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.
-  Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with pharmacy claims management software.
- Familiarity with healthcare data exchange standards (e.g., HL7, NCPDP).
