- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and sales teams to gather requirements for project-based sales, revenue management, and distribution processes.
- Lead workshops to document end-to-end processes, identify gaps, and assess integration points between SAP SD and PS.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for seamless integration between SAP Distribution (SD) and Project Systems (PS) modules.
2. SAP SD and PS Module Configuration
- Configure SAP SD for project-related sales, including sales orders, pricing, billing, and revenue recognition tailored to project needs.
- Customize SAP PS to enable project planning, resource tracking, cost allocation, and budget management specific to project-based sales.
- Ensure smooth integration between SAP SD and PS modules, coordinating closely with finance (FI/CO), materials management (MM), and warehouse management (WM) modules.
3. Solution Design and Implementation for Project-Based Sales
- Design SAP solutions to streamline project-centric order-to-cash processes, including contract billing, project milestones, and resource utilization tracking.
- Lead or participate in the implementation, rollout, and upgrade of SAP SD and PS configurations to support project-based sales.
- Define testing strategies, conduct integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solution quality for project-specific requirements.
4. Documentation and Training
- Document SAP configurations, integration workflows, and troubleshooting guides specific to SD-PS project-based sales processes.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users to ensure effective adoption of integrated SD and PS functions.
- Maintain and update documentation and training resources as system upgrades or process changes occur.
5. Data Management and Reporting
- Ensure data integrity between SAP SD and PS by managing project codes, pricing, customer data, and billing information.
- Create and customize reports for project status, revenue, cost tracking, and resource allocation to support decision-making.
- Support data migration and validation during SAP implementations or upgrades.
