  • Provide, administer and maintain an automated scheduling System
  • Scheduling Conflict Resolution and Reportingi.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts, with Hertz assistance, in all production schedule cyclesii.
  • Provide daily report of scheduling conflicts which occurred in previous night’s batch cycle
  • Schedule Monitoringi. Monitor schedule cyclesii. Monitor scheduled batch jobs, Resolution and Restart, Invoke resolution and restart procedures in the event of failures in the batch jobs or online utilities
  • Incident Notification, Perform notification of Incident to appropriate support team in accordance with the Procedures Manua, lDelay Notification, Perform notification of delays within batch production schedule in accordance with the Procedures Manual
  • On-request Batch Job Scheduling, Schedule on-request batch jobs per Hertz request, Perform adjustment and fine tuning to include:i.Identification and documentation in Hertz specified format of critical paths based on statistics of executionii. Identification of jobs eligible for parallel processing (on same CPU or multiple CPUs) and reorganization of normal batch schedules iv. Support of special batch schedules (e.g., for known peak periods)v. Suggestion and implementation of improvements
  • Code Promotion Standards, Maintain and update standards for code promotions, Acceptance Criteria and Operational Requirements, Document production application and Systems acceptance criteria and operational requirements, Movement of Codei. Move Application related code from development, test, or quality assurance to NonStop production Environments and document and maintain procedures for same iii.
