JOB DETAIL

· Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery

· Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and automation

· Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, or equivalent

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to define requirements and specifications that meet customer needs

· Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand usability issues, and ensure their needs met through quality assurance efforts

· Monitor and report on testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics to stakeholders

· Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend process improvements

· Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

· Proven experience as a Test Lead with a strong focus on automation

· Over 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, demonstrating effective leadership and mentoring of teams

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to drive quality improvements

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams

· Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, with experience in automation tools and languages such as Java, Python, Selenium, Jenkins, Gitlab

· Exposure/experience on AWS or any related cloud technologies

· Solid understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

· Effective leadership and team management abilities

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven customer-facing experience

· Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
