JOB DETAIL

Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Jetpack Compose.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following best practices.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

- Optimize apps for performance, scalability, and user engagement.

- Debug and resolve issues, providing support for ongoing app updates.

- Stay up-to-date with new mobile technology trends, including Android development standards and Jetpack Compose updates

.- Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality codebase

 

 

Essential Skills:           

8+ years** of professional Android development experience.

- **1+ years** of experience with **Jetpack Compose**.

- Proficiency in **Kotlin** and **Java** programming languages.

- Strong understanding of **Android SDK**, UI/UX principles, and architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, etc.).

- Experience with Android Jetpack libraries (e.g., Navigation, Live Data, View Model, etc.).

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Experience with Android architecture components, custom views, animations, and transitions.

- Familiarity with performance profiling tools and memory management techniques.

- Solid understanding of mobile app testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines

 

Desirable Skills:          

Experience with **Kotlin Coroutines** and **Flow**.

- Experience with **Dependency Injection frameworks** (e.g., Dagger, Hilt).

- Experience with **Room database**, **DataStore**, and other persistence mechanisms.

- Exposure to Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, etc.).

- Strong understanding of Material Design guidelines and Android UI design principles.

- Previous experience in building apps that run across different Android devices and versions.

- Open-source contributions or active participation in the Android community.
