- Install, configure, upgrade, and administer Informatica PowerCenter and associated products (e.g., Data Quality, Informatica Cloud).
- Manage and monitor all Informatica environments, ensuring high availability and performance tuning of the platform.
- Perform regular system maintenance activities such as patches, updates, and backups to ensure platform stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Informatica components including servers, workflows, sessions, and jobs.
- Collaborate with data integration teams and provide support for development and testing environments, including handling deployment requests.
- Monitor and manage Informatica services, ensuring they meet performance metrics and SLAs.
- Design and implement best practices for administration, automation, and security of the Informatica platform.
- Manage user access controls, roles, and permissions within the Informatica environment.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
- Set up and maintain Informatica metadata repositories and manage repository backups and recovery processes.
- Provide operational support for disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to Informatica systems.
- Automate routine tasks, such as backups, and monitor key components of the system for proactive issue identification.
- Work closely with DBAs and infrastructure teams to support integration with databases, storage, and network environments.
- Stay current on the latest Informatica product features, enhancements, and new releases to optimize platform capabilities.
- Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
