JOB DETAIL

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and administer Informatica PowerCenter and associated products (e.g., Data Quality, Informatica Cloud).
  • Manage and monitor all Informatica environments, ensuring high availability and performance tuning of the platform.
  • Perform regular system maintenance activities such as patches, updates, and backups to ensure platform stability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Informatica components including servers, workflows, sessions, and jobs.
  • Collaborate with data integration teams and provide support for development and testing environments, including handling deployment requests.
  • Monitor and manage Informatica services, ensuring they meet performance metrics and SLAs.
  • Design and implement best practices for administration, automation, and security of the Informatica platform.
  • Manage user access controls, roles, and permissions within the Informatica environment.
  • Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Set up and maintain Informatica metadata repositories and manage repository backups and recovery processes.
  • Provide operational support for disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to Informatica systems.
  • Automate routine tasks, such as backups, and monitor key components of the system for proactive issue identification.
  • Work closely with DBAs and infrastructure teams to support integration with databases, storage, and network environments.
  • Stay current on the latest Informatica product features, enhancements, and new releases to optimize platform capabilities.
  • Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
