Skills and Experience Required:

COBOL85/COBOL400: Development experience on the iSeries platform.

JCL & RPG: Expertise in Job Control Language (JCL) and RPG programming.

DB2 (iSeries) & Flat File Structures: Knowledge of DB2 (iSeries) databases and flat file management.

C Programming: (Nice to have) Understanding of C programming skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Development: Create and implement solutions on the System i (AS/400) platform using various tools like RPG, COBOL/400, and SYNON.

Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs): Execute PoCs and develop estimates for AS/400-based projects.

Platform Expertise: Leverage a broad range of AS/400 products, including modern offerings, to design efficient solutions.
