  • COBOL Development: Develop COBOL code for application solutions based on technical program specifications.
  • SAS Proficiency: Demonstrate working knowledge and hands-on experience with SAS for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Unit Testing: Perform unit testing of application software modifications using various programming platforms and productivity tools.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to defined processes and procedures to ensure the quality of technical solutions.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
  • Test Data Management: Modify or create test data to ensure successful testing of program code changes.
  • Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to verify that changes have not impacted existing functionality.
  • Thorough Testing: Perform in-depth testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
  • Production Support: Participate in the setup and support of the production environment.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot problems and provide root cause analysis to facilitate problem resolution.
  • On-Call Support: Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues affecting application availability.
  • Documentation: Document the cause and resolution of outages in the System Info databases.
  • Code Documentation: Thoroughly document code changes.
