•. Design and Setup DR for cloud databases - Aurora PostgreSQL Global, Dynamo DB etc..
Setup the data replication from/t
•o PostgreSQL/Aurora to Data Lake, Sqlserver, Azure Synapse, Redshift etc.
Prioritize work based on the project needs and work effectively with minimum supervision.
Manage, Monitor, Troubleshoot Database Operations, Optimize database performance, tuning. •
Implement high availability, replication, and cluster on databases. •
Database refreshes in on-prem and cloud. •
Support application release deployment and perform data fixes. •
Working with the application team to rewrite the Stored Procedures. •
Troubleshooting performance issues in real time. •
Work in a globally distributed team in an Agile/Scrum approach •
Provide routine status reports to leadership and escalate as necessary. •
Maintain Service Levels and department goals for problem resolution. •
Follow security stands and effectively manage software patches and upgrades. •
Utilize best practices, standard procedures. •
Write and maintain clear documentation. •
Ensure 24x7 availability for critical database systems hosted “on premise” and on AWS • & Azure Cloud.
Be available to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for the team. •
