Provide architecture, design and engineering services for the Cloud Environment utilizing industry best practices
Provide architecture, design and engineering plans and recommendations regarding the selection and implementation of new cloud technologies, in support of Company’s changing business needs.
Work with Company to identify cloud architecture requirements
Create design documents and provide to Company
Obtain design documentation approval by necessary stakeholders and relevant teams
Work with Application teams for design inputs, build processes and documentation
Provide application design specifications to operations team
Update documentation following changes (e.g. ,design, configuration, licenses)
Involve resources from other capabilities where events requiring outside involvement originate on in-scope infrastructure
Involve resources from other capabilities where events requiring outside involvement to originate on infrastructure
Troubleshoot complex and escalated failures and recommend solutions with respect to third-party cloud vendor platforms
Escalate identified operational risks in the cloud, in accordance with the applicable procedure in the Policies and Procedures Manual
Participate in solutions design and identify the right-size components for new business requirements and development
Design and configure network connectivity across the cloud regions for the Cloud Environment
Provide cloud based technology direction and guidance for Demand Management
Architect, design and build cloud platform technologies to support Company defined requirements
Evaluate requirements and propose, design and build cloud architecture and resources that adhere to cloud and security best practices
Create and maintain IaC for the deployment and maintenance of all cloud resources
Design, document and communicate strategies for tracking cloud resources, costs and costattribution
