JOB DETAIL

  1. Lead and support Salesforce and Marketing Cloud activities that strategically guide business and operating models, people, processes, and technology
  2. Work closely with IT and business leaders to create alignment between business and IT
  3. Clarify strategic intentions, align business outcomes, explore implications, impacts, and risks, and address stakeholders’ questions
  4. Design and create deliverables for business leaders that support organizational change toward achieving targeted business outcomes
  5. Facilitate discussion around the construction of business models, which may include technology, business capabilities, processes, and other key business deliverables
  6. Assist strategy and business leaders understand, apply, monetize, and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models
  7. Assess the disruptive forces impacting the organization and the economic and financial levers that are susceptible within the organization to digital transformation and optimization
  8. Serve as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert
  9. Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value
  10. Detail competitive threats and opportunities from digital enterprises that are generally considered outside the traditional realm of competition
  11. Analyze the organization's Salesforce strategy and how the organization currently approaches innovation, streamlining/process improvement, and monetization.
  12. In coordination with VP, AVP, and manager drive understanding, adoption, and coordination of next-gen Salesforce technologies across the organization
  13. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize business cases for new business opportunities
  14. Participate in the ongoing process to identify and prioritize business processes that can be converted to digital to enhance the customer experience and become a trusted partner in the management and delivery of products and services
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on the Salesforce suite of products, supporting technologies, and AppExchange providers along with trends in digital solutions and capabilities
  16. Keep abreast of emerging CRM technologies and evaluates vendor offerings to determine the best fit for business needs
  17. Support thought leadership to develop viewpoints on digital trends
  18. Recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions
  19. Collaborate with the CIO, VP and AVP to create a strategy for the enterprise to promote the use of data, data services, and technology platforms to establish the scalable Salesforce ecosystem
  20. Responsible for end-to-end strategy, design, and implementation of the roadmap for the organization’s Salesforce and Marketing Cloud suite of products
  21. Review business context for solutions to company challenges as well as define the vision and requirements for the solution, recommend potential options, select the most optimal option, and the developing of a roadmap for the selected solution
  22. Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership
  23. Mentor other Salesforce professionals to solve complex systems and program problems
  24. Handle extensive research, analysis, definition, and documentation on all facets of the job
  25. Identify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice
  26. Serve as an active contributor to the Enterprise's overall knowledge and expertise
  27. Set the strategy for core Salesforce developments in the marketplace and have a strong point of view of opportunity/impact for meeting business goals
  28. Implement overarching Salesforce strategy across all customer/producer segments, moving from offline to online
  29. Partner with Salesforce Strategy and Operations, VP, and Marketing AVP Product Owners to manage the project portfolio
  30. Connect Salesforce investments to the organization’s goals and objectives to achieve positive digital transformation
  31. Identify and translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives
  32. Create the architectural blueprint and establishes best practices that help guide the rest of the technical team on how best to leverage the Salesforce ecosystem
  33. Assess vendors, AppExchange providers, and solutions to determine best-fit for the enterprise
  34. Produce technical documents of systems and architectures
  35. Perform evaluations of enterprise Salesforce technology standards, tools, products, and solutions to identify opportunities for improvement
  36. Participate in applicable governance and project status review meetings
  37. Verify systems and practices are compliant with an internal and external specification
  38. Review the design of potential solutions to identify design risk, component end-of-life measures, and regulatory issues
  39. Analyze the current Salesforce platforms, cloud, and security architecture to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement using digital solutions
  40. Create and deploy procedures for maintenance and timely update of the Salesforce platform components
  41. Ensure that solutions comply with the security and quality standards of the enterprise
  42. Engage business and process owners and lead the collaborative planning effort to leverage emerging technologies for addressing strategic organization goals
  43. Promote the use of the Salesforce platforms across the enterprise to optimize existing processes and identify new business opportunities
  44. Communicate development progress and associated business projects and plans to senior leadership
  45. Establish strong working relationships with senior business, operations, and technology leaders in the capacity of a trusted advisor
  46. Leverage cross-functional teams to drive digital, product, and consumer strategies
  47. Participate in project planning during all phases of the project life cycle as needed
  48. Maintain relationships with appropriate technology partners (internal and external) in developing, deploying, and supporting technical solutions
  49. Work with multiple stakeholders to optimize Salesforce solutions to meet enterprise requirements
  50. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to integrate Salesforce solutions into existing enterprise tools and systems
  51. Provide technical leadership to multiple teams in a consultative/supporting role, or more strategically helping shape the future of technology and innovation within the company
  52. Partner and guide a team of developers and testers through an Agile and DevOps process that includes continuous integration, testing, and delivery

  33. Five or more years of business or IT experience with direct responsibility for strategy formulation and/or translation, business analytics, and program management
  34. Experience with cloud deployment, technical and security architecture, virtualization, software design, software development, networking, Agile development, SCRUM, application lifecycle management, open source programming languages .Net/C#, Informatica, Sales/Service Cloud, or Financial Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce's Lightning Component Framework (formerly force.com), APEX, VisualForce, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, and Soap, Rest, Platform Events, Streaming APIs, technical solution architecture, GIT, TFS or equivalent
  35. Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, processes, products, and best practice
  36. Salesforce Development experience preferred

Certifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):

1.        Salesforce Architect - Preferred

2.       Salesforce Administrator - Required

3.       Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and Platform Developer 1 are a plus

4.      Marketing Cloud certifications or equivalent experience a plus
