JOB DETAIL

As a Guidewire Development Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation of Guidewire applications within a competitive environment. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of developers, ensuring they deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise in Guidewire development and P&C Personal Property Insurance will be instrumental in guiding the team towards achieving project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of Guidewire developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure timely and efficient delivery of Guidewire projects, meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Guidewire architecture, components, and best practices.
  • Guidewire Development: Actively participate in the development process, contributing to design, coding, and testing activities.
  • Domain Knowledge: Leverage your expertise in P&C Personal Property Insurance to effectively address business requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Coaching and Development: Identify training needs and provide coaching to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and find innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Guidewire Expertise: Proven experience in Guidewire implementations, including hands-on experience with Guidewire Integrator, Configurator, and other core components.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Guidewire development, including Java, XML, and SQL.
  • Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of P&C Personal Property Insurance processes and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
