This group owns a Java Application and it's one of the few Java Applications that actually has a frontend.  Home Price is the name of the application and model.  A UI developer contractor from another company is not performing so we can replace him.  
This team has built their own frontend and as such wants the resource to have design skills (more senior) and must be able to communicate well.  Resource should be knowledgable and experienced with Microservices and API's and how UIs or GUI's work with them.
Java backend skills are desirable.  SQL always a big plus but doesn't have to be a guru.  AWS services S3 and ECS are nice to have.....  we would want some AWS experience.
